0-35kg (This is based on our below recommendation, not the strength of the leash or hardware used)
1/4" Beta Biothane rope has a break strength of over 200kg. The snap used has a break point of over 50kg but the suggested working load for the hardware used is 25-35kg for dogs that will lunge heavily into the snap. This is not the breaking load at which point the hardware will break, but the working load at which the snap can become damaged.
If your dog is outside the recommended weight range, please regularly check your snap for any signs of damage.
All metal can and will rust or corrode when used in water, especially salt water! We highly recommend washing off your leash on a regular basis with clean fresh water and drying it off. The length is inclusive of the Biothane in the handle and the snap.
