Ruffland FAQs

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions about Rufflands! If your question doesn't appear below, then please feel free to email us!

1. When are you getting more Rufflands?

Our current pre-order is still in production with Ruffland with an estimated lead time of 12-14 weeks plus shipping, which puts us around December 2026. We will have a variety of kennels available for purchase with this order, but stock will be limited!

2. How much to ship my Ruffland kennel?

This will depend entirely on what size and number of kennels you have purchased, and where you live! Once the kennels arrive in Australia, we will reach out to all customers to offer shipping quotes. These can range from $50+ depending on your order. If you live in Sydney, you will have the option to arrange pick up for a small handling fee.

3. Will you restock them soon?

The order we have submitted to Ruffland consists of customer pre-orders and a juicy range of kennels that will be listed on our website for purchase as regular stock. These Wildhunde kennels will be stocked on our website in the lead up to our container arrival so that we can hit the ground running with shipments as soon as we get everything unloaded! Please sign up to the mailing list for ongoing Ruffland updates.

4. What size Ruffland kennel should I get for my dog/car?

The product page for each kennel provides all the internal and external measurements so that you can measure your car to ensure what kennel is best suited to fit!

For dogs, we advise taping out the floor space measurements and getting your dog to lay in that space. Ideally you want "three points of contact" (aka touching two sides of the kennel and laying down on the floor). Your dog does not need to be able to stand fully upright in the kennel. If there's too much free space floating around your dog, they will be less secure in the event of a crash.

Ruffland also provides an interactive sizing guide here. Instagram/Youtube/Tiktok can also be a wonderful resource -- we recommend reviewing videos where you can compare similar size dogs and cars to see what best works for you.

5. When's the next pre-order?

We have not set a date for the next official pre-order just yet, but a rough estimate would be around Q2 next year. We will put out feelers early next year to gauge demand and go from there! We need to be able to fill a big ol' shipping container in order to make it a viable venture for Wildhunde and customers alike, so if you're keen to jump on the next pre-order please let us know! Regardless, we do also have plans to add more Ruffland kennels to Wildhunde stock for purchase in future!
